Following last years runner up award in CAMRA’s pub of the year competition, the Bay in Port Erin has gone one step further this year, and won the award outright. It’s very much a team effort, and credit must go to all the staff that have made this happen. Congratulations and well done!!

Just spotted the news whilst setting up my annual visit to The Island. Well done, Bay Hotel. Favourite eating/drinking venue. See you next month.
We visited the I.O.M. in 2009 and were mightily impressed with “The Bay” and we are coming back shortly and wondering if it has letting rooms – but there is no info on the web at all. No website, nothing, and nothing here – or is there? Am I daft? Or not 🙂

Dammit. I wish I had’ve known about “The Bay” when I was in the I.O.M. in mid-October. For sure I would’ve sampled the wares with great eagerness. Is Bushys available in Australian liquor outlets?
